Terms of Use for Customers

Welcome to Fikishwa! By accessing or downloading the Fikishwa Customer app or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Platform Eligibility & Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for a Fikishwa Customer account. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete, and you agree to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Service Charges & M-Pesa Payments

Fikishwa provides upfront fare calculations for all ride-hailing and delivery services. By booking a trip, you agree to pay the calculated fare shown in the app. Fikishwa supports cash payments directly to drivers and cashless payments via M-Pesa. Any additional tolls, parking fees, or cancellation fees incurred during your ride are your responsibility.

3. Passenger Code of Conduct

We want to keep Fikishwa safe and pleasant for everyone. When using our services, you agree:

• To treat drivers, riders, and their vehicles with respect.
• Not to use the platform to transport illegal goods, weapons, or hazardous materials.
• Not to cause damage to the driver's vehicle. Any damage fees assessed will be charged to your account.

4. Cancellations & Fees

You may cancel a ride or delivery request at any time. However, cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched and is close to your location may incur a cancellation fee to compensate the driver for their fuel and time.

5. Limitation of Liability

Fikishwa acts as an intermediary platform connecting passengers with independent transport service providers. Fikishwa is not responsible for the behavior, acts, omissions, or security of the independent drivers/riders on the road. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
